Sherry Chen

Sherry joined BC Assessment in 2019, beginning her career as an Information Analyst. In 2021, she advanced into the Data Scientist role, leveraging her strong background in statistics and data analysis. In this capacity, she has supported multiple teams through data extraction, dashboard development, and the delivery of data-driven insights to inform decision-making. Sherry joined IAAO in 2022 and has actively participated in most of IAAO’s online webinars, gaining extensive knowledge in property assessment. She is deeply appreciative of the learning opportunities provided by IAAO and, motivated to give back to the community, joined IAAO BC Chapter as an executive member in late 2025. In her new role, she looks forward to supporting the team and contributing to the continued enhancement of IAAO BC Chapter’s services.
